If you’re thinking of getting married, renewing your vows, or escaping on honeymoon, there is something on the islands for you. From the ruined stone chapel of The Hermitage on Cat Island to the classic lines of the Versailles-inspired gardens and cloister on Paradise Island, picturesque wedding locations are truly plentiful.
Many of the larger resorts and even some boutique properties have their own wedding planner, while the Bahamas Bridal Association, based in Nassau, can recommend wedding planners for weddings throughout the islands.
Our Spin The Cloisters is a 14th-century French Augustinian monastery, which was dismantled by William Randolph Hearst in the 1920’s and brought to Paradise Island between 1959-62. It is located on Ocean Drive, overlooking Nassau harbour. A wealth of different wedding packages are available in this stunning location.
